We really enjoy receiving your photographs, and encourage your submissions. However, given the large file-size of images taken directly from a digital camera, these can quickly flood our mailbox. We therefore request the following:

Do not send unsolicited photographs. Please email us first and await our confirmation prior to sending image files.

Reduce all images to a maximum of 500 pixels on the longer side.

Keep file-size for each image below 60 KB. Reduce the image-size or number of colours in the image, as necessary.

Files can be submitted in .jpg format. However, other file-types (such as .tif) give a better image from which to get a final version for publication on the site.

Written credit will be given on the associated page for any original images used.

Please note that submission is not a guarantee that we will use your images. Similarly, we reserve the right to crop images, as deemed necessary.
