3 Men & Black Tour Clarification

Please note that the February 2005 3 Men and Black tour is a 2Tone Special, featuring
Dave Wakeling (The Beat), Roddy Byers (The Specials), Nick Welsh (Bad Manners) and
Pauline Blacke (The Selector). Consequently (and contrary to some local advertising), JJ
Burnel will not be on this particular tour.

Brits Award Nomination

"Golden Brown" has been short-listed as one of 25 nominees for the "Brits 25 The Best
Song Award". This award is for the best single of the past 25 years. After a first
round of voting (which ends on January 9th), the top five tracks will be chosen. The second
round of voting will then take place between January 21st and 30th.

Merchandise Update

Following the successful French tour, the
official merchandise site is offering
a limited supply of French Tour shirts for £10, in the "offers" section. New t-shirt
offerings include "The Men Covered in Birdshit" and a rat logo made from the titles
of every song ever released by the band.

JJ Soundtrack

JJ has provided the soundtrack for the new Japanese animated TV series "Gankutsuou". This
is a re-working of "The Count of Monte Cristo", in a futuristic setting.

The soundtrack album (as yet untitled, catalogue no. VICL-61551) for this project
will feature
the starting theme ("We Were Lovers") and ending theme ("You Won't See Me Coming") and
other instrumental pieces by JJ, together with various classic music pieces compiled by
sound designer Koji Kasamatsu.
December 21: The Japanese release date for this CD is now
February 23rd, 2005. No word as yet on releases outside Japan.

guitars are provided by Baz Warne and additional vocals by Phillipa Cookman. These tracks are
produced and engineered by Louie Nicastro.
A DVD of the first and second episodes of the TV series will be released in Japan on February
25th.

Plymouth Academy Cancellation

We have been asked to post the following regarding this show:
Over the last few days it has become clear that the venue is not prepared
to deliver the conditions necessary for The Stranglers to be able to put on
their usual quality performance for the West country fans and as a result
the band feel that it is in everyone's interest not to proceed with the
show at Plymouth Academy on December 9.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Tickets are
refundable from point of purchase.

French Tour: Revised Dates

The Stranglers' major tour of France is now underway.
November 9th: Please note that the 14th November gig in
Mulhouse (at Le Noumatrouff) has now been CANCELLED.
November 9th: Please note a venue change for the Nice gig on
November 27th. The Stranglers will now appear at Le Palais Nikaia (as the original venue
has burnt down). November 10th: All tickets purchased for the original venue will be valid for the new
venue.

Canadian Live Dates and Media Events; Release of Norfolk Coast

"Norfolk Coast" is now available in Canada,
on the Universal label (catalogue no. 7697422882). This release contains the same
tracks as the UK version (see below),
with the exception of the bonus track "Peaches 2004".
A short tour of Canada, in support of the album, will take place in late October. A
full tour of Canada is being planned for the New Year. The October dates are as follows:
We have two other events to announce for Toronto: On Friday October 22nd at approximately
6.20pm, the band will perform a couple of acoustic numbers at the Edge FM --
228 Younge Street. At 1pm on Saturday, there will be a signing at Sam the Record Man,
347 Younge Steet.
