Turning Japanese in April
The band fly east for three Japanese dates at the start of April, for the annual Punkspring 2010 festival.
The band will be in Nagoya at the Zepp on 2 April (along with Lostprophets, 311, The King Blues...and more), then Osaka Zepp on the 3rd and Tokyo's Makuhari Messe on the 4th. The Nagoya and Osaka shows are in 1,800-2,000 capacity venues prior to the larger gig in Tokyo, which holds 20,000.
According to a Japanese website, Punkspring is an annual festival who's "goal was to bring international artists, especially American and British musicians to Japan for 3 days of live concerts featuring punk music bands that many Japanese kids listened to but may not have ever seen in person".
Recent years have seen acts like the Damned and the Buzzcocks play, as well as American bands like Rancid.
The festival website is at www.punkspring.com.
We'll bring you more details once we have them.
