NEWS

Update: 22 December 2009

Doing the European

The Stranglers' first gigs of the new decade will be in Greece. They play three dates in late January, visiting Patras (at Akti) , Athens Fuzz and Block 33 in Thessalonika. (Note change of venue in Athens)

Dave Greenfield

Tickets can be bought on www.i-ticket.gr from Friday 18 December. They will be priced at around 25 euros.

Following on almost immediately from the UK tour, the band cross the Channel again for a couple of European gigs, the first in France and the second in Belgium.

Bataclan Stranglers adThe Paris gig is at a lovely old music hall venue Le Bataclan on the 25th and the other is at the Het Depot in Leuven the next night. Tickets are available through the individual links to the left but also for both gigs through www.fnac.com. Ticket prices are between 25 and 30 euros.

There were also rumours of a third date in Amsterdam but this was only pencilled in and has unfortunately not materialised.

Apologies to any disappointed Dutch fans out there.

At the time of writing, there are no further European dates in the pipeline although we will keep you updated as soon as we hear of anything...
