Glastonbury warm up details, another festival date
The Stranglers Glastonbury warm up gig will take place at the Cheese & Grain in Frome, Somerset, on Thursday 24 June.
This small venue has a capacity of 800 and the band last visited there in the summer of 2007. The gig has been organised for any disappointed fans who are unable to see the band's appearance at the sold out Glastonbury festival the next day.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday the 10th March through this link or by phone on 01373-455420.
The band have also just been confirmed to appear at another west country summer festival. The gig is at the Wyeside festival near Hereford on Saturday 19 June and day tickets are now on sale on www.wyesidemusicfestival.co.uk .
The festival website promises that the band will be arriving at the festival by helicopter...

Stranglers invited to T in the Park, and to Greece and Bulgaria
The Stranglers’ busy summer schedule continues with Scotland’s biggest festival, T in the Park.
The band are playing on the main stage on Sunday 11th July and tickets go on sale this Friday the 26th at 9am so it’ll be a busy day for fans north of the border. The T in the Park website is www.tinthepark.com

The Stranglers are playing at Glastonbury. Despite many years of rumours about feuds between the band and organisers, we can confirm they will be appearing at Britain's best known festival in Pilton on Friday 25th June.

More festivals lined up
More UK gig news has just reached us hot off the press. The band are lined up to appear at the Daphne du Maurier festival which takes place in Fowey in Cornwall in May. The festival features both the arts and literature and is a celebration of the author Daphne du Maurier who made Cornwall her home.
